Advance is an educational program under the auspices of the department of Career Development and Placement at the University of Cincinnati. The purpose of Advance is to enhance professional development of African American students. This is accomplished through application and theory.
GoalsAdvance’s overall goal is to prepare African American college students for a world of effective professionalism. Employers look at Advance as an effective resource for locating African American job candidates, and for promoting leaders of tomorrow. Career development and Placement enhances its efforts to provide qualified candidates for today’s company needs. By supporting Advance, employers have a unique opportunity to contribute to the workforce of tomorrow.
