The "gyaling" (also spelled "gya ling", "gya-ling", "jahlin", "jah-lin", "jahling", "jah-ling","Rgya-gling" etc.) is a double reed shawm traditional to Tibet. It is used specifically in Tibetan monasteries during "puja" (chanting and prayer) and to welcome lamas and rinpoches.
