Zarabod

Zarabod

Zarabod is a small agricultural hamlet in Gojal (Upper Hunza) in the Northern Areas of Pakistan. The people of Passu and Hussaini have equally divided it into two parts. Zarabad is Persian word: Zar means gold while abod means cultivated land. Thus, Zarabod formed by the combination of Zar and Abod.
