Pete "Petey" William Cortlandt (full name Peter William Cortlandt II) is a character on the soap opera "All My Children". He was last played by Mitchel Federan in 2003. He was original played by Jack McKillop (1997-1999) and then Casey Gunther (1999-2002) and has been portrayed by Daniel Kennedy since July 11, 2008.

Peter's mother, Opal, got pregnant with him late in life and received the blessed news after she had begun menopause. Peter's father Palmer Cortlandt (born Pete Cooney) accused Opal of infidelity, since he had been previously left sterile decades earlier after a horseback riding accident. After Joe Martin ran a few tests, it was determined that Palmer was not sterile after all and he was indeed the father of Peter. As a gift to her husband she gave the child a variation of Palmer's original name, Pete Cooney.

Petey returns shortly after the death of Richie Novak. He meets of with his old friend Colby Chandler, who he has a crush on as a child.

After Opal's and Palmer's divorce, Opal got custody of Petey.
