Zegapain XOR is a mech action game where you control Toga Vital. The game follows the "Zegapain" anime. The game is very similar to "Zone of the Enders". The game's sequel "Zegapain NOT" allows the games players to play online against each other.

Characters

Toga Vital (Takahiro Sakurai): The protagonist, the seventeen year old Gunner of the Altair who lost his memory in a critical battle. Toga lives a normal life in the city of Maihama until he is reawakened as a "Celebrant" and discovers that his world is only a digital illusion created to preserve humanity until it can be resurrected. He makes appearances in episode 21 and 22 of the anime series.

Mio Readiness (Yui Horie): A sixteen year old girl who acts as one of three possible Wizards for the Altair. She appears to have a crush on Toga and responsible for his reawakening as a Celebrant. She makes a brief non-speaking cameo in episode 22 as Muelle's wizard.

Sarah (Miki Nagasawa): Toga's partner, a nineteen year young woman who pilots the Altair as a Wizard; she has also worked with Saw. She has been in love with Toga since before he lost his memory. Because she has a tendency to live while her gunner dies in battle, she has been referred as the God of Death. She appears in episode 21 and 22 of the anime.

Meivelle Transferre (Omi Minami): The third Wizard for the Altair, who has worked as Saw's Wizard. Fifteen year old Meivelle is a genius of electric warfare and possesses four Celebram icons. She appears in episode 22 of the anime.

Isola (Kazusa Murai): Commander of the Dvaraka, an Oceanus-class ship which serves as home base for Toga and other Celebrants. She is a recurring character in the anime series.

Muelle (Hikaru Midorikawa): Vice-commander of the Dvaraka, who also acts as Gunner for the Hræsvelgr. He appears throughout the anime series in non-speaking cameos alongside Isola.

Saw Verbbinski (Kenichi Suzumura): Gunner of the Garuda, one of the Celebrants on board the Dvaraka.

Shizuno Misaki (Ayako Kawasumi): A mysterious Celebrant from the Oceanus and Wizard for Kyo Sogoru and Chris Avenir. She is responsible for salvaging Toga's data after he was lost in a critical battle. She is a heroine in the anime series.

Lemures (Shinpachi Tsuji):One of the Oceanus class ship' AIs. He is the captain of the Dvaraka and executes orders. He is the Deputy Administrator (commander) of the Oceanus class ship Popol Vuh.

Dita (Eri Nakao):One of the Oceanus class ship' AIs. She is monitors and directs the management and strategic functions of the Zegapain.

Ricerca (Mai Kadowaki): One of the Oceanus class ship' AIs. She also mainly supports transferring the Zegapain and is capable of controlling the Caladrius.

Fosetta (Junko Okada): One of the Oceanus class ship' AIs. She mainly supports transferring the Zegapain, but is also responsible of monitoring interior sensors onboard Oceanus. She is also capable of controlling the Caladrius.

Tarbo (Fumihiko Tachiki):One of the Oceanus class ship' AIs. He acts as the secondary captain of the Oceanus. He can control the Caladrius.

Kyo Sogoru (Shintaro Asanuma): The Gunner of the Oceanus' Altair. The protagonist from the anime series.

Chris Avenir (Hiroshi Yanaka): The Gunner of the Oceanus' Hræsvelgr.
