MacGillivray has worked for many national governments and multinational companies, as well as UN agencies and is the author of a book titled, "A Brief History of Globalization", in which he discusses the concepts ofGlobal Intent andglobalization . MacGillivray has twenty years experience working oncorporate responsibility andsustainable development . He was one of the co-authors of the research study, "Low Flying Heroes", whose title stems from the notion that community activists operate mostly under the official radar that monitors community development.
