WNSX (97.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Adult Contemporary format. Licensed to Winter Harbor, Maine, USA, the station serves the Downeast Maine area. The station is currently owned by Stony Creek Broadcasting, LLC. The station's signal serves Washington and Hancock counties.

History

The station went on the air as WAKN on September 8th 1995. On April 4th 2000 the station changed its call sign to the current WNSX. In late 2000 the station was bought by Clear Channel Communications and began simulcasting WFZX before carrying Fox Sports Radio for several years before returning to a simulcast of WFZX. In 2005 the station was sold to Stony Creek Broadcasting, and adopted its current format [http://www.rbr.com/epaper/issue111-05-lmv.html] .
