- Pont Julien
The Pont Julien (French for "Julian Bridge") is a Roman stone arch bridge over the
Calavon in the south-east ofFrance dating to3 BC . It was located on theVia Domitia .It is located 5km au north of the village of
Bonnieux and 8km west of Apt. It is located on the territory of the commune of Bonnieux.The bridge's natural stones were cut to a precise fit, and were not cemented with any mortar.
