Muhammaad Kamaruzzaman is the senior assistant secretary general of the political party Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.^[1] He is also serving as the editor of weekly Sonar Bangla.

Kamaruzzaman has been accused of committing war crimes during the Bangladesh Liberation War, helping to organise the Islamist, pro-Pakistan Razakar militia.
