Heroiv Dnipra (Kiev Metro)

Heroiv Dnipra ( _uk. Героїв Дніпра; _ru. Героев Днепра, "Geroev Dnepra"; literally: "Heroes of the Dnieper") is a station on Kiev Metro's Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska Line. The station was opened on November 6, 1982 in the Obolonskyi Raion of Kiev. It was designed by G.D. Andreev. Named after the street right above ground which bears the same name.

The station is located shallow underground and has a central hall with brown square columns. The walls have been covered is with white and yellow marble, and the floor — with red granite. On the top parts of the columns are socialist red stars. The station's lighting comes from lights placed at the top of the columns. The station is accessible by passenger tunnels; one leading to the Obolonskyi Prospect, and the other — to the Heroiv Dnipra Street (from which it takes its name).
