Revenge is Best Served Cold is the first episode in the of the popular American crime drama , which is set in Las Vegas, Nevada.

ummary

Grissom, Sara and Warrick investigate the death of a high stakes poker player who dropped dead during a game. Suspicion falls on the other members of the game. Catherine and Nick investigate a dead body on an abandoned air-strip and are lead into the world of Vegas street racing.

Continuity

Carmine Giovinazzo guest stars as street racer Thumpy G in this episode; he later guest-starred as NYPD Detective Danny Messer in the ' episode "MIA/NYC Nonstop." He would reprise the role of Danny Messer as one of the main cast of the second "CSI" spin-off, ', making him the first actor to appear in all the CSI series. Another actor, by the name of Todd Stashwick has appeared in all versions, though not as the same character.
