The USS Liberty Veterans Association (LVA or USS-LVA) is an organization of survivors of Israel's attack on June 8, 1967 dubbed the USS Liberty incident.
Organizational structure
The current board of directors of the LVA is the following:
* President: Gary Brummett
* Vice President: Ernie Gallo
* Secretary: Glenn Oliphant
* Treasurer: Moe Shafer
* Editor, Newsletter: Stan White
Jim Ennes, Lieutenant Commander (Retired), runs a website with ties to the LVA, [http://www.ussliberty.com] . Ennes' co-administrator of the site is former LVA president Joe Meadors. Ennes and Meadors also run [http://www.usslibertyinquiry.com] with survivor John Hrankowski and an independent researcher. The latter site has no ties to the LVA.
