LORDAERON

Lordaeron are a five-piece death metal band from Derby and Nottingham, England. Mixing the atmosphere of black metal with the squealing rawness of grindcore throwing in precise technical elements, Lordaeron slay like no other.

Lordaeron began when an embryonic Death metal project collided with a fledgling Grind band and both evils form one angry hate machine, pent on reaking blasting chaos and fury as far and wide as possible.

The name came from the fantasy game 'World of Warcraft'. Most of the lyrical content in their early music were mainly about the Kingdom of Lordaeron but the later material has branched out into more on the forces of nature.

Currently, the future looks notably vile and promising. At present, Lordaeron are writing more material for the first album which looks set to be released through UnionBlack records, and plenty of live dates and tours await.

The band have shared the stage with the likes of 1349, The Berzerker, Abgott, Keep of Kallessin, Gutworm and Desecration.

The first self release entitled 'So It Begins...' EP 2006.(with sequenced drums as opposed to live drum recording) saw them setting the bar for speed, brutallity and all out epicness of the blackest kind. With much underground acclaim, the legion was born.

In 2007, Lordaeron recorded a 3 track demo with Rich Grindon on the drums (The Gritz) which really brought to life the music and if possible, made it more brutal.
