University of Essex Mountaineering Club

The University of Essex Mountaineering Club (UeMC) is based at the University of Essex, Colchester, United Kingdom.

The Wall

In 1995 the [http://www.essex.ac.uk/sport/ Sports Centre] built a climbing wall with help from lottery funding, costing over £60,000. The wall has four sections, including an Arete Wall, an Overhang Wall, a Ledge Wall, and a slab. There is also a bouldering section known as the Cave.
