It is about her younger brother,Alfie Owen-Allen , smoking cannabis in his room in addition to her commenting that he watches television and plays computer games too much.When "Alright, Still" was released in July 2006, "Alfie" reached number seventy in the
UK Official Download Chart . The double A-side entered theUK Singles Chart at number forty-four ondigital download s only, and then to number fifteen when combined with physical single releases. "Alfie" entered the Official UK download chart at number seventeen.Alfie was released in
Japan on the 11th of July as a Japan-only EP (which would chart on the albums charts). The EP features six songs and three music videos as a CD extra.The song uses samples from

The video features a puppet playing Alfie, whom Lily takes drugs away from, as well as catching him
masturbating over "Roxy and Babs get it on" pictures, and stopping him taking beer from the fridge. There are 2 versions of the video, in one when Alfie is smoking they show him sucking his finger, and the words "weed" and "THC" is censored, also when Lily take drugs away, in one she takes drugs in the other one she take a joystick away and when Alfie is masturbating in the censored it's showed "CENSORED" in red while in the other one they show the bed moving while he masturbates, and when Lily comes he stops and when she's gone, he follows.
