Promot'Elle

Promot'Elle

Promot'Elle is an independent Canadian record label founded by composers Pierre F. Brault and Michel Robidoux in 1970 as Studio Poly-Sons. It adopted its current name in 1997.

Initially funded to produce CDs and cassettes of the TV show Passe-Partout, it also recorded «Noël en Blues». In 1989, it gives demands with Guy Cloutier Communications.

In 1997, because Radio-Québec turned into Télé-Québec, the defunct Studio Poly-Sons returned into activities and changed its name to its current name.

The company first based in Montreal on Papineau Street, has moved in 1997 on Teck Street.
