Jonathan Jayne auditioned for the sixth season of American Idol, became friends with Kenneth Swale (who then used the name Kenneth Briggs), and was rejected. Simon Cowell made an insulting remark about his weight and asked if he had "borrowed Randy's trousers". He has since gained popularity and appeared on several television programs. On the The BJ Shea Morning Experience he admitted to having "a mild form of autism".
