Thierry Delva

Thierry Delva (Born 1955 in Deinze, Belgium) is a Canadian sculptor living in Prospect, Nova Scotia.

He is a master stone mason, and his early work involved stone carving and cutting. [ [http://www.thierrydelva.net/Texts.htm thierrydelva.net] ] His more recent work comprises plaster, iron and bronze casts everyday containers.

Delva graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design in 1993 with a Masters in Fine Arts and has taught at NSCAD University in the Sculpture department since 1994.

His first exhibition was at the Mount Saint Vincent University Art Gallery in 1990.
