1972 ), more commonly known as Vargas-Suarez Universal, is a contemporary American artist living and working inBrooklyn, New York . Born inMexico City , Vargas-Suarez was raised in theHouston suburb of Clear Lake City, adjacent to theJohnson Space Center . From 1991 to 1996 he studied astronomy andart history at theUniversity of Texas at Austin and moved toNew York City in 1998.cite web
