Sironcha is a tehsil in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, India.

Geography

Sironcha is located at coord|18.83|N|79.96|E| [ [http://www.fallingrain.com/world/IN/2/Sironcha.html Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Sironcha] ] . It has an average elevation of 118 metres (390 feet).

There is a planned National highways No 16 between Nizamabad in Andhra Pradesh and Jagdalpur in Chhatisgarh State, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh states. The construstion of this National highway includes two big tasks: Construacting the bridges on mighty Pranhita and Indrawati river. Sironcha was a key location for East India company from Naizam perspective, however its not clear as why Sironcha a remote place selected. Anil Baddela native of Sironcha is working with local community on a research on East India Company's strategic intent of going to Sirocha. Is it that EIC understood that Sironcha is reach in mineral or thought can leverage on river connectivity from transpotation angle. However you look at Sirocha is build like one of the Britan village.
