Scott Swan

Scott Swan is a screenwriter best known for his work with director John Carpenter on seasons one and two of "Masters of Horror". He has been working with his writing partner Drew McWeeny since the two met in high school. Their recent films "Cigarette Burns" and "Pro-Life", both produced as part of the "Masters" series for Showtime, represent their first produced film work, but the two have been working professionally since 1994, when their plays "Sticks & Stones" and "Broken Bones" were first produced in Los Angeles.

Swan and McWeeny have recently written Skin and Bones, an episode for the NBC horror/suspense anthology television series "Fear Itself (TV series)". In May 2008, "Bat Out of Hell" was announced, a major motion picture written by Swan and McWeeny, to be directed by Joe Dante.

Under the pseudonym "Obi-Swan," he has contributed to Ain't It Cool News, the website that McWeeny co-edits.

Swan lives in Los Angeles, CA. with his wife and daughter.
