historic district in thePike County, Illinois city of Barry. Located onU.S. Route 36 (Interstate 72) as it passes through Barry, the district was added to theNational Register of Historic Places in March 1979. The district is one of Barry's three Registered Historic Places. The second, named in 1988, is theFree Frank McWorter Grave Site , which is 5 miles east of the city. The third, theNew Philadelphia Town Site , is close by the gravesite and was designated a historic place in 2005.Notes
