Charites , Aglaea or Aglaia ("splendor, brilliant, shining one") wasHephaestus ' wife andAsclepius ' daughter in Greek mythology. Other sources cite her and her sisters as the daughters ofZeus and theOceanid Eurynome . WithCharopus , she was the mother ofNireus . Her other two sisters were Euphrosyne, and Thalia.
