"Young, Fresh n' New" is an R&Belectro song written by American singer-songwriter Kelis and American songwriter-producers Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo for Kelis' second studio album, "Wanderland" (2001). Released as the album's first and only single in October 2001, it was a minor hit in the United Kingdom, managing a number-thirty-two peak on the UK Singles Chart. In the United States, however, it became her third single to miss the "Billboard" Hot 100, while "Wanderland" remains unreleased there. Nevertheless, the song's Timo Maas remix did manage to chart on the "Billboard" Hot Dance Club Play at number fifteen in late January 2002.
