Junichi Hirokami (born
1958 ,Tokyo ,Japan ) is a Japanese conductor. He studied conducting, piano, musicology, and viola at the Tokyo College of Music. He won the first Kondrashin International Conducting Competition in Amsterdam at age 26. He has been the Principal Guest Conductor of the Japan Philharmonic. From1991 -1996 , he was Chief Conductor of the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra.In January 2006, Hirokami was named the Music Director of the
