- Amigaguide
Amigaguide is a
hypertext document file format similar toTexinfo designed for theAmiga , files are stored inASCII so it is possible to read and edit a file without the need for special software.Since Workbench 2.1 (1992 [http://www.gregdonner.org/workbench/wb_21.html] ) an Amigaguide viewer has been included as standard on the Amiga, users with earlier versions of Workbench could view the files by downloading [ftp://uk.aminet.net/pub/aminet/text/hyper/aguide34.lha AmigaGuide 34] .
Although the Amigaguide format is almost solely used for documenting Amiga programs, viewers are available for several platforms:
