Q38 (New York City bus)

The Q38 is a bus route, currently operated by MTA Bus, that runs from Corona to Forest Hills, going through Rego Park, Middle Village, and Elmhurst.

Q38 History

The Q38 was originally started by the Affiliated Bus Transit Corporation, and was acquired in 1936 by Triboro Coach Corporation. Triboro Coach has since ran it until its takeover in 2006 by MTA Bus, and as of this writing it is still being operated by MTA Bus.

Q38 Fleet

The Q38 is based from the LaGuardia Bus Depot. The Q38 used to consist of Orion 5's and RTS's until MTA's takeover; now it runs on RTS's and the occasional Clean Air Hybrid Electric Bus.
