The Seton Lake First Nation is a
First Nation s government located in the Central Interior-Fraser Canyon region of theCanadian province ofBritish Columbia . It is a member of theLillooet Tribal Council , which is the largest grouping of band governments of theSt'at'imc people (aka the Lillooet people). OtherSt'at'imc governments include the smallerIn-SHUCK-ch Nation on the lowerLillooet River to the southwest, and the independentN'quatqua First Nation at the farther end ofAnderson Lake from Seton Portage, which is the location of three of the reserve communities of the Seton Lake First Nation, aka the Seton Lake Indian Band.The Seton Lake First Nation's offices are located at
Shalalth, British Columbia , where a band-operated school is in operation, teachingSt'at'imcets language andSt'at'imc culture in addition to regular curriculum. Many children from the band attendBridge River Elementary School , which is run by the Lillooet School District and is also located in Shalalth.Chief and Councillors
