Laurence Anthony McCarren (born November 9, 1951 in Park Forest, Illinois) is a former American football center who played for twelve seasons in the National Football League with the Green Bay Packers. He earned the nickname the "Rock" after he started 162 consecutive games, which is the team's fourth longest consecutive games start streak as of May 2008. He was inducted in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 1992.

He became the head sportscaster in 1988 at WFRV-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin He hosts "Larry McCarren's Locker Room" during the NFL season which includes player interviews, highlights, and breakdowns of the game film. McCarren began teaming with Wayne Larrivee as the color commentator and analyst to broadcast Green Bay games on the "Packers Radio Network" in 1995. He was named the Wisconsin Sportscaster of the Year in 1994, 1996, 2002, and 2007 by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
