Washi Washi is a freelance writing agency based in the United Kingdom. It was established in early 2006 by Daniel Sobey-Harker and Benjamin Thornton while they were still in college. The agency cover most kinds of articles; SEO, Content, copy writing as well as proofreading. The name Washi Washi literally translates from Japanese as "Paper Paper" which relates loosely to their prowess in writing. The agency uses a 1-1 basis with clients, and promises full confidentiality of any and all

Although there are only four main writers of the agency, the company hires other freelancers from time to time. According to the Washi Washi website they require all staff to pass a three month "test period" which if they pass they are able to become a full member of the team.

Washi Washi allows members to work under a pen name if required or preferred, although the entire team use pen names, only Chako uses it as a complete alias.
