Ronald James McGarry (born 5 December, 1937 in Whitehaven) was a professional footballer, playing the centre forward position. In his career, McGarry played for Workington, Bolton Wanderers, Newcastle United, Barrow, Gateshead.

McGarry played for Newcastle between 1963 and 1967, where he was nicknamed Cassius [ cite web | url=http://archive.thenorthernecho.co.uk/2004/11/9/33590.html |title=Number nine still 'Shirt of Legends' |publisher=The Northern Echo |accessdate=2007-04-11] . He made 132 appearances and scored 46 goals.
