Khoroo

Khoroo

A khoroo is a subdistrict of Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia. Each düüreg (district) consists of a number of khoroos, adding up to a total of 121. Each khoroo has an identifying number within its düüreg, although some may also have a name (eg. "Narnii zam 13" or "Rashaantiin 18"). The khoroo number is used in Mongolian mailing addresses.
