Band history
The band formed in late 2004, in London.
Their two sell-out singles were played on Radio 1,
BBC 6Music ,Xfm , andWFMU . The girls have also played sessions forMarc Riley on BBC 6Music, have been interviewed onPhill Jupitus 's 6Music's breakfast show twice, plus sessions forResonance FM , andWFMU in New York. The band's Technicolor mayhem videos have been on heavy rotation at everyTopshop in Europe, and Gonna Rip Up Your Photograph won the accolade of being voted in the shop's top 40 videos of the year.The band has toured extensively, and have gained plaudits across the UK, in the USA, Spain, France, Holland, Belgium, Norway, Ireland, and Switzerland. They've played festivals from Benidorm's
Wild Weekend tothe Glastonbury festival ,Leeds Carling Weekend ,Bestival ,The Big Chill ,Lost Vagueness , Litfest, Italy's Festival Beat 15 and Ireland's Electric Picnic. They have played with bands includingThe Cramps ,The Damned ,Art Brut ,The Subways ,The Rezillos ,The Monks ,The 5,6,7,8s , and were once supported byJames Blunt .External links
