Ajay Sastry is a Director who directed his maiden movie called "12"(Baarah)that was produced by Rana Daggubatti the grandson of the famous producer Dr.D. Rama naidu. In the past, he played the role of Associate Director & Screenplay writer for movies such as "
Rakhi (film) " and "Danger (2005 film) ". He is going to start shooting his first telugu movie in Feb 2008.To add to this Ajay has been the lead singer of Rock bands like "Alter Egoz" and "Jekyll and Hyde". An orator and a poet, his poems have been published in the "American Anthology Of Poetry". And if you thought that was all you would be wrong as he also represented the country at the 'World Championship Of Modern Western Dances' at London and ran a dance school for almost five years before he shifted to being an ad film maker. He quit his last job at 'Ogilvy and Mather' to make films.
