Alejandro Cichero (born April 20, 1977, in Caracas) is a Venezuelan football defender, he plays for Chinese club Shandong Luneng and has made over 40 appearances for the Venezuela national team since 2002 [ [http://www.rsssf.com/miscellaneous/venez-recintlp.html rsssf: Venezuela record international footballers] ] .

Cichero has played club football in a number of different countries, his teams include Trujillanos and ItalChaco (Venezuela), Benfica (Portugal), Cagliari (Italy) Central Español, Cerrito and Nacional Montevideo (Uruguay) PFC Litex Lovech (Bulgaria) and Shandong Luneng (China).

His brother Gabriel is also a defender and play in MLS club New York Red Bulls.

He played in the 2004 and 2007 editions of Copa America.
