Chun Tzu

Chun Tzu

A Chun Tzu is the Confucian ideal of a perfect human being. This is a person who is mature, magnanimous (someone who suggests nobility, is lofty and has a courageous spirit), respectful and helpful towards others. This person is also very balanced and is in full control of him or herself. According to Confucian philosophy, a Chun Tzu person is an individual who has been guided by their virtue or Te and has a respect for all of humanity.

As a leader, a Chun Tzu is ideal because of their trustworthiness, good etiquette, use of words and their ability to listen humbly to the needs of their followers. The Chun Tzu would know not only what to do in any given situation, but also how best and most appropriately to do it, being a practitioner of Li. Responsibility in the use of their power is also an admirable trait of the Chun Tzu - they are able to steer clear of potential disasters by following their deep reverence for all peoples of every nationality, color, race and creed.
