Sonny Flood (born 18 November 1989) is a British actor.

Sonny was born in Blackpool, Lancashire. His major role has been Josh Ashworth in Channel 4 soap opera "Hollyoaks". He has also had minor parts in "Cold Feet" and "Heartbeat". Sonny has an older brother, Beau.

Education

In 2006 Sonny passed 10 GCSE exams all at either A or A*. In 2007 he achieved 4 'A's at AS level, in English Literature, History, Media Studies and Philosophy, and in 2008 he achieved a grade 'A' in English Literature and a grade 'B' in History at A2 level. Sonny decided to take just 2 subjects, at A2 level, allowing him to concentrate on working for Hollyoaks. http://www.metro.co.uk/fame/article.html?in_article_id=265478&in_page_id=7&in_a_source=] Following his 'A' levels Sonny left Rossall School [ http://www.rossall.co.uk/senior/s-success.html] He now plans to take a further 'A' Level and hopefully progress to university.

He will appear for the first time in the annual "Hollyoaks Hunks" calendar, 2009 edition. He is currently dating his "Hollyoaks" co-star Ashley Slanina-Davies who played his on-screen girlfriend Amy Barnes. They have been together since 2007.
