Académica is a sports club that its football (soccer) team plays in the Brava Island League in Cape Verde. The team is based in the island of Brava. The team has only won an insular title in the spring of 2001 and later participated in their first appearance at the national level in the same year.

Apart from football (soccer) there are also in the club an athletics department.
