The company is owned by Bill McClatchey[1], son in law of Curtis Media Group owner Don Curtis which also owns a number of radio stations in the Triangle area.[2]
In Curtis Media Group's home market, it owns WQDR-FM, rock WBBB, oldies station WPCM, and the Triangle Traffic Network in Raleigh. The station also owns WZTK in the Greensboro market.[2]
