Egattur is a neighbourhood in Chennai, India.

Egattur is a village in Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu, located on the southern outskirts of Chennai, India. It borders the SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri. The Mohammad Sathak A.J. College of Engineering is located in this region.

OMR Seruseri Transportation

The bus stop outside SIPCOT IT Park is the main bus stand of Egattur region.

Egattur Approved Layout

The "Navaloor Enclave" Approved layout in Egattur near Mohmed Sathaq College is near to Seruseri IT Park the land owners are objecting for any possibe acquisition by SIPCOT. The Land Price is as high as 14Crore per acre and Government cannot offered provide with such high Compensation for the land owners. Some Land owners already taken a stay against the this process. Lately known that by mistake Land Surveyors have included these approved piece of lands.
