London Buses route 333 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, United Kingdom. The service is currently contracted to London General.

History

The route 333 began on the 25 January 2003 and provided a service between Elephant and Castle and Tooting Broadway. This new route replaced the withdrawn section of the 133 which was between Streatham and Tooting. The route is operated by London General at their Stockwell Garage. Sometimes Alexander Dennis Enviro400s or Dennis Trident/Plaxton Presidents can be seen on the route. The average journey time is between 30 and 58 minutes. The frequency is Monday to Saturday every 10 minutes, Sunday and evenings every 12-15 minutes.

Confirmed Route Change

From March 8 2008, in conjunction with the introduction of new route 415 the route will be altered between Brixton Station and Oval Station, running instead along Stockwell Road to Stockwell station and then along the northern portion of Clapham Road to Oval station, meaning the route will no longer serve the northern section of Brixton Road, which will be covered by route 415.
