- Outside air economizer
-
An outside air economizer is a system that cools a building using air from outside the building. This system is most effective when the outside air is cooler than the air inside.
In a proof of concept test that ran over 10 months, Intel showed that this cooling method saves 67% of power for a datacenter.[1][2]
