Carnoustie when he was four and went on to gain a first class honours degree in Fine Art fromDuncan of Jordanstone art college inDundee ,Scotland in 1996. He then moved to London with Broccoli. They released several records and toured the U.K before he decided to return to Dundee in 1997 and complete a masters' degree at Duncan of Jordanstone. In 2000 he performed the controversial but critically acclaimed Fringe show "The Road From Dundee". At the time of his death, of a rare heart condition, he had been focusing on his career as an artist.
