Communist Workers League of Britain (Marxist-Leninist)

Communist Workers League of Britain (Marxist-Leninist)

The Communist Workers League of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) was a Maoist political party in Britain.

Like the Communist Federation of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), its origins lie in the "Joint Committee of Communists", founded in 1968 by former Communist Party of Great Britain members and from various youth organisations. The League began work in 1969 as the Irish National Liberation Solidarity Front. The organisation maintained a focus on Marxist-Leninist unity, but its efforts to bring groups together proved unsuccessful. The group dissolved in 1981.
