Movement for the autonomy of Kabylie

The Movement for the Autonomy of Kabylie (MAK) (Kabyle: Timanit i Tmurt n Yeqvayliyen) is a Kabyle political organization which demands self-government status for the region of Kabylie in Algeria. It is founded by Ferhat Mehenni, now President of The Provisional Government of Kabylia, after the "Black Spring" disturbances in 2001.
