Leri Mchedlishvili

Leri Mchedlishvili ( _ka. ლერი მჭედლიშვილი) (born March 4, 1936) is a Georgian philosopher in mathematical logic, he has written a number of books which are well known throughout Georgia. He was born in Tbilisi, the capital of the then-Soviet Socialist Republic of Georgia. He studied in Lomonosov Moscow State University. He is the head of the section of the Classical Philosophical Heritage in the S. Tsereteli Institute of Philosophy of the Georgian Academy of Sciences. He is also a well known professor in his field and delivers lectures throughout the country.
