Adolf Weil is a German former
motocross racer. He competed in the FIM 250cc and 500cc Motocross Grand Prix world championships as a rider for theMaico factory racing team during the1970s . He finished in second place in the1973 250cc World Championship and finished in third place three times in the 500cc World Championship, but was never able to capture a title. Weil won the1973 Trans-AMA championship. He was known as the 'Iron Man' of motocross because he competed well into his late 30s in a physically demanding sport that is dominated by younger riders.
