Helen Seinfeld, played by Liz Sheridan, is a fictional character on the US television sitcom "Seinfeld" (1989-1998). She is Jerry Seinfeld's mother. Her husband—Jerry's father—is Morty Seinfeld.

Helen's catchphrase in the series is her rhetorical question about Jerry, "How could anyone not like him?"

According to Jerry, Helen has never once set foot in a natural body of water. She is an older retiree who lives in Florida.

Helen holds the distinction of being the only recurring character to appear in every season of Seinfeld, played by the same actor. Her husband Morty also appeared in each season but was played by Phil Bruns in his first appearance, rather than by Barney Martin who portrayed him in every subsequent episode.
