Keith Stadeler was born in
Venezuela and grew up inAlaska . A 1984 graduate ofEmbry-Riddle Aeronautical University , he holds a Master’s Degree in Aeronautics. He is also a graduate of Marine Corps Command and Staff College, theArmed Forces Staff College , and theNATO Defense College inRome, Italy .Stalder's previous command was II MEF (2006-2008); Training and Education Command (2005-2006) — he relinquished command to Maj.Gen.
