- Little Eyes
Little eyes or Little Lize (Lil' Lize) is a folksong popular in
Cornwall but may have originated in America. It was first recorded in the 1950s by an American harmony group called theDelta Rhythm Boys [ [http://www.vocalgroup.org/inductees/delta_rhythm_boys.html The Delta Rhythm Boys] ] but was later taken up a Cornish group fromCamborne called the Joy Boys. It became a local hit after a few alterations. It is still sung widely across Cornwall but is rarely heard elsewhere.Lyrics
